Breathe with Me is a five-channel video installation presented at New York’s Grand Central Madison Terminal. Filmed underwater, the work follows performers as they walk, balance, reach, and release breath in slow, deliberate rhythms—transforming simple actions into gestures of endurance and connection.

Displayed across synchronized screens in a public transit hub, the installation contrasts the urgency of commuter movement with the stillness of submerged bodies. This temporal shift invites viewers into a moment of pause, where breath becomes both a shared biological act and a metaphor for interdependence.

Through water as both medium and condition, Breathe with Me reflects on vulnerability, collective resilience, and the fragile continuity that connects human bodies to one another and to the ecological systems they inhabit.
